Amanda Chalofsky, MS, CCC-SLP
Owner | Speech-Language PathologistAmanda is a compassionate speech-language pathologist who specializes in helping adults overcome communication and swallowing challenges caused by complex medical conditions, guiding them toward recovery and improved quality of life. She earned her Master’s degree from New York University (NYU). Amanda brings extensive clinical experience from hospital and outpatient settings, including trauma units, critical care, and comprehensive stroke centers. These high-acuity environments shaped her expertise in treating communication and swallowing disorders resulting from medically complex conditions. Through this experience, she recognized a gap for accessible, high-quality therapy services tailored to adults, which inspired her to found NEUROGENICSS in 2020. Our practice was created to provide compassionate, evidence-based and person-centered therapy for adults.
Amanda’s therapy approach is holistic and functional—designed to empower her patients to achieve meaningful outcomes in their everyday lives. She is deeply committed to recognizing and celebrating her patients’ therapeutic progress alongside them and their loved ones.
Amanda is licensed to practice in the State of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Her commitment to lifelong learning and clinical excellence has earned her the prestigious ASHA ACE Award three times. In addition to her clinical work, Amanda is dedicated to advancing the profession. She has served as a mentor through ASHA and has been a guest lecturer for graduate programs at universities in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
